***SOLD*** Put some Iron in your mixes - Racked Audio Trans

This is a unique piece of gear that allows you to run audio tracks through various audio transformers to achieve new, different, or unique sounds that you won't get through plain old EQ. Of course you want to know what it sounds like...but it depends. I can't really tell you what it sounds like because it depends on what the source material is and what the impedance match (or mismatch) is like. You may find a transformer that really fattens something up, or rolls off the highs, or rolls off all the lows, or creates an AM radio or "telephone" EQ, or distorts. You might patch one into another, or create a whole chain of iron. Or you might patch in a guitar pedal and find a totally new sound. It's really up to your imagination and how much free time you have! EQ it, mangle it, or just sweeten it. There are many possibilities.
The labels I put on here were just to give me some idea of what was behind there after I racked it... remove them, replace them, leave the low-class look...whatever you prefer. Neutrik TRS connectors (but wired as TS) and heavy gauge wiring. Mounted on heavy gauge steel 2U rack panel.
*****SOLD*****
$225 + USA shipping. I'll cover any paypal fees.
here's a link to another similar unit I built (and sold) awhile back:
