For sale is a fully restored Otari MX5050bii 2 channel tape machine.

This is a pro deck that's been fully gone through and deemed in perfect functioning order. The VU meter bulbs were replaced, the machine taken apart and cleaned, the pinch roller pivot arm taken apart and lubricated, a new pinch roller installed, the machine demagged and fully aligned and calibrated. This machine is ready to go!

Comes with a tall metal floor rack, 2 reels of new tape (one reel is sealed and the other used to align the machine), a take up reel, bound alignment procedure, and the original Otari hubs.

This tape machine is perfect for adding an analog element to your mixes or mastering. It'll be plug and play with a pro tools rig or your analog console.
