Selling a Bang & Olufsen BM-4 ribbon mic. These mics were the prototypes for Royer's design. Steven Sank modded it by installing a genuine RCA BX-44 ribbon and adding an XLR connector to the cable. The mic is in excellent condition, has been stored carefully and hasn't seen much use since the mod was done. It sounds huge, about the closest thing you can get to a real BX-44 without spending $2k+.
$475 and I will ship free within the continental USA, outside that, shipping cost will vary by location. Cosmetically there are spots mostly on the back where the chrome plating has flaked. It doesn't affect anything and the mic still looks good.
