Vintage Transformers for Sale! UTC Freed

Post by CustomRecordingCo. » Wed Jan 06, 2016 5:41 pm

I recently removed these transformers from working equipment. There's nothing wrong with them, just wanted to replace them with trannies that were truer to the original spec for the gear these were in.

I have for sale:

2 x UTC A-18 - $100 each OBO

These were removed from 2 Ampex/ Sigma 3761 mixers. They were fitted as the output transformers. Both are in good shape.

8 x Freed High - Low Impedance Transformers - $30 each OBO

These were also removed from 2 Ampex/ Sigma 3761 mixers. They were installed as the mic input transformers. Vintage iron for $30 bux? Can beat it. Cool mid frequency bump. Not exactly a flat frequency response, but cool effect.

Happ to answer any questions or send pictures! Thanks for looking!
