I purchased it a few years back from a sound company in the DC area. They bought up another sound company that was closing and the m1516 was part of the deal. It looked like it had never been used and smelled like it when I opened up the case. With that said, I don't know the exact history of the console but it is in great condition.
The only issue with my 1516 is that three of the vu bulbs are blown. Other than that, this console is as clean as they get!! There isn't a scratchy pot or fader in this console. The preamps are great, especially on bass and drums but I use the entire console for tracking and mixing with no outboard preamps. ?It especially sounds good when you run it into the red. ?Those input and output transformers are great. The natural compression is beautiful. ?I have both the user manual and service manual in PDF format which I can pass along.
