FS: Ampex AG-440c 1/2" 4 Track

Selling my Ampex AG-440c in wood roll-around cabinet. $2000

This machine has been re-capped with high quality Nichicon and Sprague Capacitors in all electronics cards and the electronics chassis.

The old Mallory can capacitors in the electronic chassis have been replaced with high quality custom PCB's.

All bulbs and VU meter lights function.

Heads are in excellent condition and have plenty of life. (Yes, I can provide the JRF Magnetics Head Report)
Overall cosmetic condition is great with typical wear for a 40 year old piece of equipment. Back right caster on the roll-around cabinet has started to come out of the wood framework but still rolls around fine.
