I am reluctantly putting up for sale my Tascam IF-1000 Parallel Interface unit. I hesitate to sell it because it took me forever to find this one, and I plan on getting another reel to reel. In fact, the only reason I still have it is because it was so darn hard to get. It’s almost like a trophy of a long and exhausting gear hunt! But I sold my Tascam 48 a couple of years ago, and this has just been sitting in my rack since then.
I’m asking $500, which is probably too much, but like I said...it gives me heartburn just thinking about having to track another one of these down. It’s on Reverb, but I’ll cut a break to Tape Op folks. I’m trying to get one of those Effectrode Blackbirds. Anyhow, I never would have figured out syncing tape decks if it wasn’t for the help I got here. I owe these forums something....
