This mic has carried a reputation around here which is what made me seek it out. David Bock's first flagship tube mic in the late 90's, it has a bright and present sound to it. This thing has excelled on a couple different voices in my studio, but alas it does not suit mine and these days I get recorded around there more often than anyone else, so I'm letting it go.
The power supply is brand new. I had Mike Hampton over at Hamptone build it and he did a beautiful job building a custom power supply with switchable polar patterns (from cardioid to figure-8 to omni with all several steps in between). In reality the supply costs more than half what I'm selling this for, so you can take that as an opportune deal.
