Hi!

I'm selling this microphone because I got a real U87! I'm sad to see it go as I still prefer it to the Neumann for a mono drum overhead as well as on acoustic guitar, but I'm not doing much drum recording these days either. Mic is in great condition and comes with the shockmount. I never had the wooden storage box for it (bought used), but it still sounds pretty good without it.

that's a good deal for a sweet mic (I already have 2 myself) - and this is the original that has the head basket that probably triggered a cease and desist letter to Warm... causing them to redesign it. So this may soon be a desirable collector's item.

Mic is gone. Didn't want to take a further bath on it just so a STRANGER could buy it so I'm suprising a dear old friend by mailing it to him without his prior knowledge.
