Looking for Furman RV-2 spring reverb for sale
Hi,
My name is Evan. Does anyone have a Furman RV-2 stereo spring reverb for sale? I've been struggling to find one.

I've got an RV-3 that I'd trade for a Starbucks gift card...

Re: Looking for Furman RV-2 spring reverb for sale
So I went and checked reverb: I don't see a single Furman RV3 there...can you post a link?
In fact, googling for Furman RV3 leads me to an old post of my own, and not much else.

Wait, isn't that seller the notorious "potted-plant guy", famous for apparently buying up gear and re-selling at large mark-up?Loantaka Sound wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 11:30 pmgot stuck looking at old listings. Here's one on eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/Furman-Sound-R ... 1042308061
As in, "The guy who always photographs his equipment for sale on a ceramic tile counter-top with potted plants, and prices everything like $200 more than it's worth." viewtopic.php?f=23&t=86147&p=694865&hil ... uy#p694865

I just wanted to chime in because I laughed aloud at "notorious potted plant guy" because I knew EXACTLY who you mean. Almost as bad as Retro Gear Shop guy asking $10,000 for a blackface Vibroverb like the one I paid $2,500 for two years ago.vvv wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 12:13 amWait, isn't that seller the notorious "potted-plant guy", famous for apparently buying up gear and re-selling at large mark-up?Loantaka Sound wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 11:30 pmgot stuck looking at old listings. Only in a lot of cases, he's missing the mark on the resale.re-selling at large mark-up
If you go click that link I posted, you'll see that flowerpot guy has apparently had that same RV3 listed for 9+ years now.

Evan, welcome, and please don't let us derail you - a friend has an RV1 and RV2, and they are really cool. Based on them, I thought I'd risk it on the RV3 long ago, and it's just nothing like them - a digital noisemaker. Mostly useful to fill empty rack space.
