The Crest V12 mixing console is the top-of-the-line model of the American brand known for the Century series but also for the manufacture of the Gamble EX56 console in partnership with Jim Gamble Associates. The Crest V12 mixing console is the American manufacturer's response to the Midas XL-4 with the flexibility of live (front of house/monitor), broadcast and theatre show applications.

The Crest V12 high-end audio performance with high-end servo integrated circuits with very extended response (10Hz-150kHz) and near zero phase variation across the 20Hz-20kHz audio spectrum (less than 5 degrees shift near cut-off frequencies) which provide very open crystal clear sound quality perfect for HD audio (SACD and 24/96kHz production). Easy to use mute automation with MIDI interface to provide additionnal mixing scene facitities.

The Crest V12 console layout is familiar to the like of Amek 9098, Amek Recall, Amek Rembrandt, Neve V3, Neotek Elan or Midas XL3/XL4 consoles so very easy to use with a very logic and friendly layout. Illuminated switches help to display many functions. The mic preamplifiers provide high gain, clear pristine sound with high headroom and low noise. The EQ is very musical and responsive from broad strokes to highly selective cut. The entire console offers extremely low noise (important for classical music work in particular) and unique headroom capabilities as it runs on +/-22V rails with over 30dBu output. The dual power supply combination offers more than twice the current reserve to ensure the console is running without any strain in the signal flow with all channels input running on max gain and with all output near clipping point.

Group mixing enables stem mixing and effect insert processing and simultaneous recording. Matrix output can be used also for monitoring outputs or surround sound mixing (up to 16 discrete channels). Group channels offer signal returns for many effects and save all 44 input for mic inputs. Very convenient : 44 LED meters on all 44 channels and large 21 VU meters (RMS) for all outputs, groups, aux and PFL to display and see all in/out level at any given time.

Package content:

- 1x Crest V12 44 microphone preamplifier channels console with 44 direct out for recording
- 44 input and additionnal 16 returns on group modules sum to 60 mixing input on mixing
- 1x Flightcase with small dog house (console only) on wheels, for transport and storage
- 2x power supply 16A (3U high 32kg 65Lbs each 120V and 240V operation internally switchable) with 2x 20ft power supply cables
- 4x Littlite swan-neck lamps, 1x cover, 1x kit of magnetic strips for channel labeling
- Documentation: 1 operator manual and 1 service manual (detailed schematics)

Condition:
The aesthetic and technical condition is excellent virtually as new (10/10) without the slightest trace or wear mark of any kind. This is due to the precautions of successive 2 owners and the very moderate use of the console over the years with good storage (covered excluding dust). The console has remained 100% original and unmodified since its production output from Crest in Paramus, NJ - USA.

History of this console:
No touring. 1st user: a church with a qualified stage manager using this console only for large service events with musical orchestra performance about 5-6 performances per year (probably 300 hours of annual operation) with operation and storage in direction. 2nd user console used in q studio with both analog MTR-90mkII tape machine and Pro Tools HD system for mixing 2.0 and some 7.1 (private non-smoking studio).

Over here the top left quarter would have a different Postcode to the bottom right quarter

Over there I guess it all lives in the same Zip Code.
