Date and Time Anomalies

Post by winky dinglehoffer » Fri May 07, 2021 8:21 pm

So when I come to the board, not logged in, the date reads, "May 7." When I log in, it goes all "07.05.21" as if I were some kind of European or something. On top of that, the current time shifts by 2 hours--and neither is the correct time for where I am. None of this really bothers me, but I'm puzzled as to how or why this would occur. Is it to emphasise that the view from inside is completely different than when you're on the outside looking in?

Thanks for ruining the mystery for me. And here I was thinking it was the Bermuda Triangle of the audio world.

So, so, so, very disappointing.

My absolute fave part was twisting yer arm to read it - I live for those experiences, see.

First, that's kind of sad.

Second, it doesn't explain why the un logged-in default would be different from the logged-in default. Just to let people know (well, ones more observant than I) that there are options?

And now that I know I can change the date & time settings, I have (if possible) even less interest in actually doing so.

Sarcasm from others not being your strong suit, I guess, lemme say with all sincerity I am absolutely indifferent but did for a moment welcome the opportunity to laugh, altho' apparently not with you.

Or, I gotcha completely wrong and need to take a time out and wind my watch - you know, to change the date and settings.

I don't think you appreciate how dire this situation is. Lives are potentially at stake--indeed, we could even be looking at a complete collapse of the time-space continuum--and all you can do is make with the funny. I am beyond disgusted.

That's why I need to wind my watch, see, changing the date and time settings will save us all.

I remember it said that on the box.
