When I click on the Img button all I get is this: [img]
Is it something with safari? Mac altogether?
I don't have a home page or anything that I can just paste a link to, so it would be nice if I knew how to paste small jpg files.

Mac users, how do you post an image in a thread on TOMB?

The images aren't hosted on the TOMB but rather are referred to by the tag and must be hosted elsewhere. Kind of a bummer when you don't have a site to host, but fortunately there is a website, www.photobucket.com which allows you to sign up for free and load images onto the site up to a certain maximum disk usage, at which point you would have to be a paying member. But I seem to recall the free space is something like 5 or 10 megs which isn't too bad if you keep the photos small - like load them in as .JPG files and not .TIF files. They also write out the link you need for different systems below each photo so you can post in message boards and also blogs.

I've used www.imageshack.us most recently. They host your photos and you can rezise them also. After you resize them (if you need to that is) it gives you a link to add.You dont even need to use the IMG button when posting.I'm using safari on a mac also.Good luck!!

also, yes it is something with safari. firefox does the auto html thing better from those buttons.... you find a link on the web, paste it in your message, hightlight it, and hit the Img button.
in safari it screws up.
