BSW Banner

Post by kayagum » Sat Jan 27, 2007 3:25 pm

So what's the deal with the banner? If they're supporting the board, then I'm glad.

(PSsst- they tend to have the best retail price on SM7 mics , 5 pack headphone deals, and a ton of useful accessories for broadcast and studio hardware - they're a good company)

I support, as I have stated before, the tasteful monetization of our beloved TOMB. I, too, am happy to see that BSW is the current sponsor. They have been good to me in the past.

"Tasteful" being the key word. So far, so good. If I see a Guitar Center banner, though...I'm just sayin'.

I think its cool, particularly if they are ok with the current format and we don't have to be subjected to some giant banner where you're supposed to shoot osama bin laden or some such. Thanks BSW.

unobtrusive is good. better than a popup for sure. I suppose we should probably click on it occasionally too because I bet that helps Larry keep the lights on.

p.s. - Web admins if you are listening, might want to change that link so that it opens a new window when you click on it (otherwise your readers are leaving TapeOp when they click on it--just my $0.02 though).

please don't do that. we all know where the back button is.

I too am glad to see the banner happen in such a tasteful way. Does this mean we can have Off-Topic back? ;)

Everytime the needle moves it means that someplace in the world an intern has made up their first mic cable.

yikes! according to my calculations that's 8,640 cases of tympanic trauma every day...we should start a prevention society.

Intern shouldn't just leave his girlfriend lying around where the singer can find her, is all.
