Daily cookie flush? was: Firefox issues with TOMB?

Post by DryCounty » Sun Jan 28, 2007 6:02 am

Hey I'm on a Mac and can access TOMB from Safari fine, but when I try to go to messageboard.tapeop.com on Firefox I keep getting this error:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Cookie: phpbb2mysql___uf=1160019178; ...(etc. etc. etc.)

Anyone know what's going on? I deleted history, etc. but it's still wigging out on just that browser...

I had the same problem. You have to go into tools > options > and then clear out the old tape op cookie. You can't just clear the cache/history. That's what I had been trying to do.

daily cookie flush

Post by DryCounty » Tue Jan 30, 2007 6:32 am

Okay, did that yesterday. Including the BSW tapeop cookie.

Today it's doing the same thing....???

<edit> After another cookie flush, it's working again. Just hope I don't have to keep doing it every day...?

there's no reason deleting your tapeop.com and messageboard.tapeop.com cookies shouldn't solve your problem, esp. if safari is fine.
i'm using firefox 2/mac 10.3.9 and having absolutely no issues
