Has anyone been having trouble connecting?

Post by apropos of nothing » Thu Feb 08, 2007 4:06 pm

I'm able to connect fine from home, but when I try from work I get the Firefox can't find server message. Then another time I got an open directory with a bunch of folders in it, and then another time I got the messageboard, but when I clicked on it, I was taken to the open directory thing again.

This is XP sp most recent, P4, Firefox 1.5, I think. I flushed my cookies (that sounds like some bad drinking story) and it was still happening.

it must have been down on and off for the last to days. I couldn't connect for most of the day, then around 4:30 today I was able to connect, then I just got a directory.

The IP could not be resloved. Wonder if it has any thing to do with the DOS attack that happened, or maybe aliens!

I think the interweb is broken again.
I had to use the "alt link to the site" on the tapeop main page... my bookmark isnt working at all. It goes to a parent directory FTP looking thing.
Awesome.

In fairness to Dreamhost, their snafu pr'y had something to do with the DDOS on DNS servers this week, which screwed a lot of stuff up, but good.
