Just saying HI and I love this place already!

I am prettttty sure I picked the right sub for this, so HI I am new here and just randomly clicked into a few topics and I got to say I love this place already! I am just a self-teaching hobbyist and I really like the positive vibe I am getting from the replies I found. Just helpful, good information without the "look at me!", "rolling-eyes" or silver-bullet bs that seems to haunt other audio-related places on the web and I can tell you I have been reading a LOT of these online.

So, ummm, hi and keep being this excellent to each other! o/ :D

I have always been impressed with this community and have found a variety of engineers and musicians to follow based on their extensive experience, knowledge base, and willingness to help anyone who comes looking for information. The best advice I can give is don't talk shit and know that the people you're talking to are often the ones creating the best sounds with the gear they have available.
