anyone have an extra comp. monitor

On the lookout for a new monitor, my old one took a poop. Trying to find one 17" or larger. If an lcd came my way I'd do backflips, but since I'm borrowing a friends 13 inch, I'm not to particular. I'm in Wisconsin and if you are close, I would love to pick it up. I am using a mac just to note. Pm me or email is rfbutter@yahoo.com.

i dont have one but local papers are filled with em. i just got a mitsubishi 22" for 65$ and i live in a samll town. people are allways upgrading monitors and with the drop in panel screens large crt/trinitrons go cheap.

Yeah,
I always see tons of them at thrift stores and yard sales for really cheap. Wait until just after the holidays when everyone is done exchanging their gifts and all and you are sure to pick up on something that someone has just upgraded from, or is getting rid of for really cheap. Sorry if this isn't the way you are looking at gaining a monitor, but it is an idea.
