Nice sig! I have Dear You in the car right now.
I get satisfaction of three kinds. One is creating something, one is being paid for it and one is the feeling that I haven?t just been sitting on my ass all afternoon.

Accident Prone is my absolute favorite song on that album -- but Jet Black is a close second. I hate to admit it, but I've still never seen Annie Hall. Damnit, I'm adding it to my Netflix Queue now.

I'm actually semi-curious about the spirit mixer... do you have more details about it? I looked on their site and found the user guide, but it looks like it only has 4 mic preamps, or does it have any? If it does, how do they sound?

Actually it has 10 mic pre's each with a direct out. I'm a little curious that no one has bought it. I paid way way more than what I'm asking. Here's a link to the Soundraft page on it http://www.soundcraft.com/product_sheet ... duct_id=91

Awesome -- how would you rate the sound of the pre's? Mackie quality, or better? Worse? I'm potentially looking for a small rackable mixer I can use to submix stuff before my mbox for making some rough demos and other assorted uses.

soundcraft racpac is sold. Other stuff is not. Ask me questions offer me prices.

I'm also selling an Xbox(4 controllers, 2 games) for cheap if anyone is into that sort of thing

Sorry someone beat you to it Workshed, but it was a tapeopper who had my cell number. Just for referrence though, the pre's are better than the mackie ones and the eq is way better. I have two soundcrafts (series 600 and Spirit racpac) a makie 2442 and a Neotek. I'm selling all but the 600. I can't reccomend soundraft consoles enough. If you have the space try getting an older series 200 or higher. They can be really cheap and the pre's and eq's are excelllent.

Ah! Bummer, and to think I was just about to plot ways to rationalize the purchase to my wife. It sounds like a nice little mixer indeed. I'll probably be looking for something rackable, as I don't have much space in my home office/studio, and I will be building a mobile setup so I can track my band at our practice space eventually. From all the reading I've done, Soundcraft and A&H sound like the ticket.

Anyhow, thanks for still providing the information -- much appreciated. I'll just have to act faster next time!

-Bret
