FS/FT G4 1GHZ, 640 mb ram, delta 1010, UAD-1 w/extras

Hey folks,

I just got a powerbook and considering dumping the desktop.

Here's what I got:

G4: Originally a 400 mhz. Upgraded to 1 Ghz sonnet acclerator.

GeForce 2 MX AGP video card (32 MB, dual display), plus the original ati rage 128 card.

640 ram

60 gig seagate audio drive (7200 rpm).

10 gig original drive
Original DVD drive

*All original drives and discs are running strong!

Comes with Jaguar, but is running the latest Panther. I'll throw in my copy of Logic 6.4 Express too (all original, bought from apple, with usb dongle).

EZ boa ext. firewire cdrw 48x (OSX occasionally doesn't recognize). Either myself or a new owner should shell out the $90 for an internal superdrive from macsales.com.

Delta 1010 pci interface (breakout box replaced less than a year ago).

Mackie Universal Audio card. No difference between the Mackie version and current Universal Audio version except for included plugs. This card can transfer owners and is still supported like new.

Plugs included alongside standard Nigel, channel strip, et. al.:

Pultec Pro (love that low-mid cut and 5k boost!!)

...and haven't started the demos for EMT 140 plate or Dreamverb.


All in all, this a badass setup for home recording. I don't mean 84 bit, Mytek badass, but ya know. It runs audio fantastically and is totally stable. I'm easily getting 40+ tracks with all kinds of stereo 1176, pultec, waves stuff. Honestly, I might be fool for getting rid of it...I definitely aint going to get what it's worth.

I've got the original keyboard, mouse, boxes, etc. for the computer, but I don't have factory boxes for the delta 1010 or the UAD. I do however have the original install cd's for UAD, the manual, and all documentation. Transfer is easy and free...you just use the hardware id and open a new account at the website, or I can even do it before selling.


Low to better than low, current ebay-ish pricing puts it at:

$sold for the computer (w/ video/ram upgrade)
$sold sonnet upgrade card. (less than a year old)
$400 UAD (bulletproof)
$275 Delta 1010 PCI
$50 Logic Express 6

Altogether that's $725. Buyer pays shipping. I may be willing to part stuff out, but I'd much prefer a package deal or trade to get the powerbook firewire thing happening.

Let the flaming begin: I'd also trade in part or all for digi 002 rack or MBox and cash.
