Those are two very different desks- the 65 shares design with the 24 and 75, while the 70 is more similar to the 80 series (transformers on the mic inputs, same pre and eq as the 80, just fixed hi & low instead of selectable like the 80).

The 65/24/75 are identical electronically, but the 24 has more busses and tape returns- the 75 is a 24 with some minor cosmetic differences (size of the VU meters mainly, IIRC). The 70s are somewhat rare.

The old Tridents are getting a little long in the tooth by now too, so if you aren't a solder monkey you need to consider maintenance.

Poorman, I just rechipped and recapped a Trident Series 24 for a friend down the street from me (he has 3 consoles). He's going to sell two of them, one being the Trident Series 24; it's in great condition. I have to workout something on one module, but it's no big deal.

The other console he's selling is a fully loaded 32 channel Ghost.

If you are interested I can hook you guys up.

I own a Trident Series 70 the I rebuilt.
