For sale is a recently configured Sadie Classic, probably the most modern configuration you will find of this high fidelity workhorse. I have one of the Kingston drive bays connected to the Sadie side and the other connected to the Windows side, so that Sadie drives can be archived to much cheaper IDE drives on the Windows side. I also have purchased the special secret and discontinued Direct-X plug-in enabler for this system, allowing you (for example) to use the Waves plug-in set (not included) on 44.1k sessions. This is an absolutely ideal CD mastering workstation. No, it can't do 96k sample rates, but for what it does it does extremely well, and is rock solid.
1GHz CPU
512 MB RAM
Windows 98SE
VGA/DVI dual output card (highest-end!)
Adaptec SCSI card for Windows side
20 GB system drive
3.5" floppy drive
2 Kingston drive bays
1 Kingston carrier with 18GB Sadie drive
1 empty Kingston carrier for an extra drive
Classic Sadie cards with Cedar RAM included (needed for optional Cedar software)
I'd like to get around $2000 for this excellent system, but please make an offer.
Thank you,
Nicholas Taplin

Actually, it does do 96k, but you have to import using the PC Audio import function - you can't do it on the live inputs (only because it's dual wire - it can playback 96k with it's four dig outputs...)mindbreathe wrote: No, it can't do 96k sample rates, but for what it does it does extremely well, and is rock solid.
Amazing box guys. Still useful in mastering and would be an ideal high end start-up unit...
