Folks,
If you or your band have a project or demo that you would like to record or mix, I have a facility that may be of interest to you. Please see http://www.jerfo.com for all of the details. While we don't have any delusions of being a world-class studio, we deliver quality results for very reasonable rates. Drop me a line to discuss if we can meet your project's needs.

Re: Budget Recording Space - South of Boston
Hi, i like the look of your place and your honesty throughout the site as well. Be good to see more photos though, didn't see any control room/space for instance.
How's the studio going?

Thanks a lot for taking a look at the site! I'll snap some pictures of the control room and post them to the site at some point in the near future. The room is a mess at the moment, so I need to get around to making it presentable before daring to photograph it. That said, there's not a heck of a lot to see. It has a laminate floor, drop ceiling, and OC 703 insulation all along the back wall. Aside from that, there's just the desk, rack, lots of things with pretty flashing lights, and a plethora of keyboards and synths.
It's a reasonably good listening room but there is some ugliness once you get around 80 Hz and below. ("Giant Steps" sounds great in there, by the way. ) It's worked quite well for both vocal and guitar tracking, although the PC is louder than I'd like.
I don't have a lot of clients at the moment, but I'm happy with the ones that I have. My favorite is Sutra (http://www.sutrasound.com). I posted an MP3 of theirs in the MP3/Music forum here if you're curious. I should post some samples on jerfo.com, too.
