Introducing "Light, Sweet Crude" my first album

Post by vmoney » Wed Feb 16, 2005 10:56 am

Hi fellow tape-oppers,

I'm the guitarist for "The Famous" an indie/alt.country band from San Francisco. We've just released our debut album "Light, Sweet Crude", recorded by me onto ADATs and hard drive at our rehearsal studio and mixed at Tiny Telephone in San Francisco onto 1/2" tape by Aaron Prellwitz. Mastering was done by Michael Romanowski at Paul Stubblebine mastering.

You can listen to the whole album at http://www.cdbaby.com/thefamous

TapeOp magazine and this message board were invaluable aids in providing ideas for micing techniques and gear recommendations. Thanks Larry and the TapeOp crew and everybody on this board!
