Rodeohead

Post by firgela » Sat May 29, 2004 10:50 am

A friend emailed this link to me today. Yup, a medley of Radiohead songs in a bluegrass vein. Weird Al should be jealous.

Excellent. The only better thing I can think of is "Dub Side of the Moon." Yes, it is dark side of the moon done reggae style. I don't like reggae, but I can't help liking the album.

wow, a whole album!

As far as medley's go my favorite goes to Weird Al for his "Hot Rocks Polka" on the UHF Soundtrack.

wow, quite an arrangement there.
the only thing I was waiting for was some high lonesome yodeling on "creep"
you know, like on "muleskinner blues"?

"run, run, run, ruuuheeeeeeeeeeee- heeeeeeee!"

This is so awsome. Especially because bluegrass is a guilty pleasure of mine.

You know you're making good music when someone else does a bluegrass cover.
