give me feedback on a track i've concocted

Post by benton netty » Tue Sep 14, 2004 10:55 pm

hi,

i'm leery of doing this, but what the hell. i'm curious.

i've been doing the heavy rock band thing for many years, while also writing more pop-type songs on the side. recently, i've started progress on a solo album, and started playing out live. it's been fun, so far, and i've heard nice things from people. but i haven't really played the recordings i've made for anyone. i figured you muso-types would be a decent test audience :)

here's a track that i did, and i'm just curious to see what you think of the music and recording. i'm just going for simplicity on this first album i'm making, that kinda intimate-fireplace feel. song's called "natural disaster." it's my first composition on the ukelele. give it a listen, and tell me what you think. i'd appreciate it.

thanks!
