Ha ha ha I love it. Takes me back to the Atari, Nintendo days. :D

What was it created on. I've been wanting to get old synths with old drum beat sounds you know the 8 bit stuff. Those sounds are awesome.
For some good new music check out The Medusas

listen to some of their Mp3's at Pure Volume

thanks -

simple setup -- I was just playing with the bitrman after a long time of it just sitting there on the table, so I wanted to put together a little something with some of its different effects. I just plugged the Bitrman into one send/return on my crappy Behringer mixer, and recorded into Logic on my mac. Added just a touch of compression on the bounce.

drumbeat is me hammering it out on a midi controller keyboard controlling a Boss DR770, run thru either decimation or bit reduction on the bitrman, no quantization so it's nice and sloppy.

keyboard is a microkorg with the Bitrman set to ring mod, plus a little plate reverb courtesy of the mixer's built-in effects.

guitar is a strat with the Bitrman on a low FM setting for a little queasiness.

Only thing "old" is the strat, which is a mid-80s MIJ....
