the underappreciated keytar

I offer up these tidbits of home-recorded madness for your review. Please comment, or at least click so that the hit count on our page goes up, our ego depends on it......

The main instrument on this song is a Yamaha shs-10 "keytar" run through a shload of effects into a Fender Hot Rod Deville amp. I posted this song a while back in the "general recording" forum in response to someone asking about the Oktava MK-219, which was used as the only overhead on the kit.

Here's another song, featuring a cheap Yamaha synth on organ (and hiss) and some guitar with overzealous use of the pan envelope in Pro Tools (and more hiss). Enjoy!
