Acoustic Parlor guitar jam with Octava MCO12

Post by Greg V » Sat Nov 27, 2004 3:12 am

Hi,
I just did a test recording with a new Yamaha Parlor Csf60 acoustic into my Akai DPS24 with a Octava MCO12 mic. I love the Akai unit and the Octava mic. The moody, loose Acoustic Jam MP3 is located at the bottom of my Music page here: http://www.gregv.us/Music.htm

Thanks for listening!
Cool,
Greg V.

i like the negative space in the arrangement,

not so sure i dig the genre.. kinda leans to whindam hillyy at times.

of course the recording is very nice sounding. very pretty. nice to see what the oktava's can do.

Awesome! I've never heard a $100 mic sound so good. I'm very, very impressed. Probably has a lot to do with the guitar.. and even more with the playing. I think that guitar has made my wish list.. it sounds really nice on slide too.

Thanks for sharing.
