A song we mixed and mastered using Paris

Post by analog » Thu May 29, 2003 9:38 pm

Hey!

Just found these message boards! We've been getting TapeOp for a few months now and love it!

Here is a song we recorded and Mastered in Paris. We used some external gear when mastering - - A Drawmer Masterflow and an L2 (Waves).
If you have time, give it a listen!

We've been listening to a lot of D.L's Wrecking Ball cd - - has been a great inspiration.

Download "Dirty Road" from analogmissionary.com

The mix sounds sort of FFfffffffuffffy. The song is nice, good vocals, but there's a lack of definition, a fuzziness to the overall sound. Sort of an AM radio sound. I'd like to hear a clearer mix. Otherwise, sounds good

Hey Zoetrope

You are right - The Drawmer is a cool box, but everything gets soft and Puffy!
