HARD CORE PANTS.

P.S. I just realized that those girls are the three graces, not the muses. But they're still totally hot.

"I appreciate the wit and sarcasm, but seriously, if enough of us wrote our reps on a regular basis, the pressure they would feel would amout to something. They would have a clearer sense of what and how their constituency is thinking (and a clearer idea on how to act in their behalf. Their motivation? Getting themselves or others like them re-elected.)"

you know i'm lucky to have Kucinich. He does my thinking for me...i mean i'm dumb and can't keep up. The guy is awesome. He does his job. He has a heart. He has a brain. It's like - hey - 'everyone else - take a hint get a puddin' bowl haircut, stand up to the man and get re-elected already.

He's what Nader wanted to be and now isn't.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Personally, I hated Europe. I love America. This place has character, and real fucking people. France can suck my dick. I think Bush should put them ahead of Iran on the next-to-get-it list. If he does, I'll be the first to enlist.

This is so relative to the actual criteria you're considering. Level of violence? General level of education? Quality and price of public health services?, etc...

The US are a much nicer place to live in than a lot of countries in the world. Ever thought of living in Argentina or Columbia? But overall, i think Holland, France, the Scandinavian countries, and some others are just more peaceful places to live in. There's so much violence in America, and as a result the US as a country tend to bring that violence outside their own frontiers.

Interestingly, this morning I got a message on my answering machine from an Army recruiter asking me to call her back. I haven't, and I'm not sure if I will, even if only to tell them to leave me the hell alone. But I imagine she'll try again.
I see this as ominous. The writing is on the wall.
I don't doubt that we'll end up with Congress reinstating the draft what with that dickface cheating his way back into office, but I wouldn't take that recruiter call as an ominous sign. I had a Navy recruiter who bugged me every six months the whole five years I was in college. I was cool with it the first couple of times, didn't get very worked up or anything. Towards the end, though, I started asking him not to call me back, which didn't stop him from calling me back.

He was a nice enough guy. I felt sorta like a dick being short with him. I just got tired of telling him I wasn't interested in the military.

But uh, I don't think calls from recruiters are really any sort of writing on the wall. Lots of people end up on their calling lists. And yeah, you'll probably hear back from her.

it's funny how he thinks he's a true patriot and part of the solution instead of part of the problem.
Thank you, Mario, but our princess is in another castle.

In case anyone was actually serious about this, I heard on BCTV last night about an immigration lawyer (from Vancouver) who is sponsoring information seminars on how Americans can legally move to Canada. They will be offerred in Seattle, SF and LA.

And once again, if you head for Canada, if they let you in, at their loss, don't let the door hit you on the way out, you pansy wankers.

I don't agree much with the way you think, I'm in the enemy camp after all,
but bailing out really show's your true colors. Or colours if your in Alberta.

I'm a Republican in Minnesota, for God's sake, and I love living here. I'm doing my best to conteract about a hundred years of socialistic thinking.

I'm also in the minority. But am I moving to North Dakota? Nope.

Fucking pussies. Make some sense, then stand up and fight for what you believe in. Well, maybe learn how to support yourself first, so I don't have to.

Man, this raises some serious concerns...such as, invading France because of a lack of character? Let's invade WalMart first, since that has to be the absolute abyss of character anywhere on this globe.

Personally, I think the fresh crop of Nouveau Beaujolais will attest to the fine character of the French people.

If I can ask, what exactly are you trying to counteract in Minnesota? It's a fine state, and has been for quite some time, from the perspective of education, people's personal welfare, and crime, among other factors.

Hell, we've got enough Republicans in McLean County (including the truly awful Jerry Weller). Now they're taking over the country.

Living anywhere outside of the US of A? For me, it'll be Sweden, no doubt. My wife is Swedish, and we'll be moving there at some point when it's time to birth out a kid or two. The absolute best place in the world to raise a child, thanks to a very forward-thinking Socialist government that places more emphasis on universal welfare than it does on market-based competition.

regarding the subject of staying/moving in/out of the USA, here is my two cents:

the argument of "staying home to fight the bull" is not a very good one although it is subjective.
i believe that "MOST" people that SAY that, dont do shit about it.
seriously.
those that have said this....
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SO FAR and what are you going to do to fight this hitlerazation of the us?
that is just a stupid excuse to fool yourself.

for the SMALL PERCENTAGE of you that ACTUALLY do something, please ignore the above.

THE other issue is that people HAVE tried to get rid of this nazi administration, but failed.
election 2004 fixed.

people loose hope so they leave.
