social/anti-social

Post by wing » Mon Jul 12, 2004 3:40 pm

is it weird that i love people, love hanging out and making friends, love interacting, and am pretty sociable...

yet in the same way, i love being alone, i'm rather anti-social. i hate small-talk, i don't really like large groups of people, and i would rather sit at home and write songs and learn things than go out and "hang"...

do i have a disease?

No. Not at all. Check out the Personality test here.

Carl Jung developed psychological types based on the four functions (Feeling, Thinking, iNtuition and Sensing) and the two attitudes (Extraversion and Introversion).

You just sound like a INFJ.

I know what you're saying man, I am pretty much the same way except for the loving people and hanging out with friends and being sociable part. It's weird isn't it?

i think you should talk to your friends about your problems instead of leaving it up to some group of yahoos on a message board.

i'm half-joking, really... i mean, it's nothing to take too seriously. i'm not seeking psychological help from you guys. just ideas and opinions.

and remember, i don't have friends, i'm too busy being social/anti-social. ;)

Yes, and you'd better tell Marianne about it right away. She better get checked out too.
