Micaiah, my real name. I don't wanna look at the follow ups. You can quote anything if it's funny. But most of them say the same danm things over and over again.

And it ends up being an anti-PC, pro racial profiling piece. Well I'm not a fan of PC, but I don't support racial profiling either. I dunno... I just can't take it seriously.

That is freakin' chilling. I don't mean in a "get-yr-freak-on, we-just-chillin'" kind of way.

Going off-topic here: I really don't like that band, so I do not know why I feel compelled to post a correction: they are Armenian, not Syrian.

Carry on.

What's not to take seriously? It's terrifying, if hardly surprising, to hear more than one pilot say that this sort of incident is hardly an isolated occurrence, that the terrorists are "probing us all the time."

(Insert probe/mother joke here.)

people say that aliens are probing us all the time, but we dont take that seriously.

another aspect of this story that i find amusing is that people discount the band concept cause the casio is "in the middle of the desert"....

OH MY GOD. A CASIO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT! it must be fake. who has heard of such a CRAZY thing.

What a total Rorschach test this story is. SOMETHING happened, and I'm not sure what. But then in essence, NOTHING HAPPENED. Is that good or bad?

We do know by now a group of Casio-wielding Syrian musicians went to the desert to jam. But again, how many were carrying SK-1s? DId they use their instruments as straight-up sci-fi synths, or to actually emulate strings, organs, percussion, etc?

Lot of unanswered questions, boys and girls.
"Nutz are cracked, buttz are whacked and somewhere in the middle of all this soapin' and gropin' comes a little thing called "MUSIC."
