I just got one saying that I won some South African Lottery "We are happy to officially inform you that you have emerged a winner under our Third Category Draws, which is part of our promotional draws"umm? Yay ! All I need to do is contact the broker assigned to my winnings, to claim... however "In your best interest and also to avoid mix up of numbers and names of any kind,
we request that you keep the entire details of your award strictly from public notice until the process of transferring your claims has been completed, and your funds remitted to your account." So don't go calling the newspapers just yet and telling them I won 2.5 million.

shhhhhhhh

I just got one of these "Next Of Kin" letters from a guy claiming to be in London.

Hey coniferouspine, could you email me that phone number for the FBI?

Had a quick look in the A-Z , as you may've guessed Chris, there's no Union Avenue Road, there's no Union Avenue at all, theres a Union Rd that stretches from Clapham to Wandsworth, SW8-SW4 post/zip code wise. I've never heard of a bank naming itself after the road it's in or vice versa i don't think, especially wouldn't happen in such a long road (maybe a cul-de-sac - but here comes bobby to tell me i'm wrong...), so it does indeed smell like bullshit. Plot 240 sounds a bit odd, 'plot' sounds like maybe there's no building there or something, strange, but also amost definately bullshit as expected.

So send him all your money then i say.
