Yeah. Everything pretty much sucks.
Why is a peaceful life such a hard fucking hope?
I would do something but I don't know what to do.
I hope George W. doesn't start fucking with North Korea.
We'll all be toast.
These fuckers want Armageddon to happen because they think
Jesus is coming back to save the Earth and purge evil.
It's not happening. We'll just be wiped out and the world
will be a ruin.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Franklin.
The second is this: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these. - Jesus Christ.

Hell, just looking at AIDS in Africa is enough to wipe the floor with any self-imposed obesity epidemic. And yet we essentially have a cure in our hands, but refuse to share it.
I think the trick to staying positive is to not look at the big picture. Find the love in your own life and nurture it, whether it be a woman (or man) - social justice - the music - whatever. My point was just that I think the big picture right now really sucks, maybe worse than I have ever seen in my 34 years (which is saying a lot). Of course if I don't look at the big picture ...
