I'm mixing Ambulance Ltd...
They are playing on the McEnroe Show today. As a fellow Tapeopper I swear to play the wrong vocal tracks during the performance. Sorry...enhancement tracks. Suckas

ahh, good ol' ambulance. i produced half of their ep. they're ok. kinda boring live, but good musicians. i haven't heard the lp, but i hear it's pretty good. i just saw marcus on the L train last night. say hi to those guys from me, especially darren. he'll be the drunk irish guy getting in a fight with someone. he also happens to be a fucking amazing drummer and a real sweetheart.
what's this about enhancement tracks? i'm gonna have to ask marcus about that. and then laugh at him for a long time.

I've worn out their album (if it's possible to wear out a cd). I like their sound and overall vibe. thumbs up.

Kidding about the enhancement tracks, they played well. Not to into the songs, a bit coldplayish for me, but they sounded good.

it's a lot more folk rockish to me, not like space brit rock.

Re: I'm mixing Ambulance Ltd...
hi-jack coming...
I saw the Coldplay video for the single, Yellow, on 120 minutes seemingly about 2 years before they broke. I thought it was a brilliant song and a great video. Both really stood out. It was then strange to see them become so huge and that song to be so ubiquitous for a while.
I think... I think... Coldplay's good. Whew... that's a relief. I don't understand the hate. I mean, sure, he's boffing what's-her-name, and that's not fair. Yes, some of the songs are a little milk-toasty. But other songs are pretty great in my estimation.
