voter fraud?

Post by high tek » Thu Nov 11, 2004 9:14 am

this is slowly but surely snowballing into a serious issue:
http://homepage.mac.com/duffyb/nobush/i ... er270.html
(check the last/bottom link called voter fraud)

some more info here:
http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/w ... tion.shtml

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

firstoff, i think that electoral voting system is flawed.
we are living in times when the state of a whole country (and the world) is dependent on the outcome of a single state like Ohio.
(by a few percentage points)

Now,
these votes are counted by machines that leave no paper trail and are made by companies (diebold) that are owned by rightwing republicans.

hmmm....

now we have all these allegations and shenaningans that we are hearing about regarding the swing states.

is this a conspiracy? (sorry for using the C word)
maybe it would be if the bush adminstration hasnt been already caught in COUNTLESS lies and scandals.

for sceptics:
wouldnt it be just as naive to ignore these issues as it is to not ignore them?
who knows.

one thing is for sure:
NOTHING will be done about this.
too late.

sure some people will cry and complain, but the brainwashed sheeple will slap the "conspiracy theorist" label on that, and thats the last we will hear of it.

just as we have footage proving that JFK was shot from the front and that oswald was NOT the lone gunman....
...what has been done about it?

nothing.

what can YOU do about it?
.............oh, nothing.

maybe run/move to canada! (our government isnt totally corrupt just yet....)
(high emphasis on totally)

Sadly, W. would have still won in a popular vote election.

Modern technology provides us with full logistic capabilities to perform popular vote elections. We don't do it this way because the whole system might become fairer and we simply can't have that!

Ya know, we stole power from the aristocrats, now they're trying to steal it back.
It is through our collective ignorance and indifference that we allow this to continue.

For what it's worth, only two presidents have won the seat without having won the popular vote: George W. Bush & John Quincy Adams (funny, both of them had fathers who were presidents).

Plus, there has been voter fraud found in every election in the past few decades. The Clinton years was rampant with it. But, nobody every wants to talk about it unless their person loses.

Very true. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if W. had lost. Although I'm sure the right would have been extremely graceful in defeat. We would have seen some of the Christian humility, I have no doubts.

i assure you the republicans would have a field day if even one of their votes was uncounted....
..theyd do a way better job of it than we will ever see the liberals do with this.

moreover, all of the Diebold machine errors and screwups seem to favour bush (pure coincidence im sure) and the private companies that own the rights to count the votes (first time ever btw) are very right wing.

it would be pretty frickin naive to not pause and think here for a second.

ooooooooo

the votergate mini-documentary is amazing.
(there are a couple different versions of it btw)

everyone should check it out.
simply unbelievable

America... just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable.
