I want to say first that I hope I don't send off the wrong message by posting this link. I just thought it was kind of an interesting read, and one that could spark an interesting discussion. I by no means condone the KKK or any bigotry of any kind.

but they claim they aren't bigots and don't hate non-whites? then why are they against skin colors mixing, why are they against people integrating and interacting with people despite skin color?

I'm a Christian, and I'm highly offended, I can't stand groups like this have skewed everything Christ had ever said and intended... I mean, to start, Jesus wasn't even white!!!

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone on this board that David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the KKK in my own home state, has run for public office in Louisiana... registered as a Republican.

The late Senator Strom Thurmond, who ran a racist campaign for president in 1948 based upon opposing civil rights for blacks...also a Republican

Rep. Bob Barr (R-Ga.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee and one of the prosecutors in the Senate impeachment trial, was a keynote speaker at a convention of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), a white supremacist group with ties to Ku Klux Klan and neo-fascist elements. His party affiliation? Republican.

Republican Majority Leader Trent Lott? Takes money from "white power" PACs and lobbyists, he was the most powerful Republican in the Senate until he fell from grace and was ousted because he "outed" the party's actual position on civil rights.

Just something to think about!
