mine is about three years old, while at work having to think of a user name i saw my nifty UPS international calender and it was on October written in a bunch of languages. So I think I picked German or something, I managed to mispell it anyways. It's stuck and I use it on every board now. People will email me of PM me and think my real name is Otto. I like the nic though, so it works.

I'm male and like to use my ears for hearing things, thus auralman.

That and it's almost a porn sounding name, so that's a plus.

dwlb is an acronym for Donny Who Loved Bowling, my garage-experimental project. According to BobbyDJ it's pronounced "dwulby."

There once was an article titled Roboburger about how Mcdonalds had worked up robots to handle a lot fo the menial tasks of burger making, but surveys showed that the average american abhorred the idea on no human contact in food cooking, for fear of like a rat getting caught in the works or something. Anyway, they shelved a lot of the projects. well it seems that a lot of other corporations would follow mcDonalds lead should they choose to go into robotics. Thus putting out of work the people who are going to buy the products generated by this kind of labor. a day of drinking and discussing this topic with friends had us saying Roboburger over and over and it was fun. Years later, I worked for Servotron, The all-robot rock band. I ressurected Roboburger for that and stuck with it ever since. I have recieved mail Addressed to Rob O. Burger, too!

ubertar is the name of an instrument I made. It's electric, upright, played w/a bow, has 8 melodic strings and two drone strings inside played with a motor. It's been replaced by the Alumitar, which has more strings but no drone, but I still keep ubertar as my name online. I may resurrect it for the instruments I'm making to sell, Upright Bowed Electric fRetless guiTARs.

There are pictures of the original ubertar at my website. [/b]

Once on the Simpsons Homer tried to make up a fake name on the spot and the best he could do was "Joey Jo Jo Jr. Shabbadoo". Carl told him it was the worst name he had ever heard.

My name is Joseph and people have always called me "Joey" and "Jo Jo" since I was a kid. After we saw that episode, my friend started calling me "Joey Jo Jo Jr. Shabbadoo" just to be goofy and it stuck. I started making records under that name because it had a certain silliness and irony that appealed to me. Later when the recording project became a band, we shortened it to "Shabbadoo" and gave new first names to all the members. The only clue I have to the origin of the name is that a French dude in a chat room said it was a pretty common nickname in France.

Isn't that just fascinating?
