Coffee Consumption!!!

i'll have a frappucino maybe once a month or so, other than that i'm not much of a coffee drinker...

Hmm. I don't seem to be that bad off after all! I think I probably drink between 5 & 6 cups a day. Cups being regular coffee mug size. 5 or 6 cups a day still cannot be too healthy

Tea, Earl Grey, hot. And none of those destable little "bags"... I buy fresh loose tea and brew it in one of those little Bodum coffee presses. That's in the morning, and around lunch maybe some green tea brewed the same way (but at the correct temperature for green tea, which is about 170F). A really nice Japanese green tea is well worth searching the local oriental groceries for.


Regarding caffeine and headaches, it's the lack of accustomed caffeine that causes the headaches. In other words, withdrawal of a physically addictive substance. Nice, eh?

Barely had a coffee in six years, drank it all day at this place i worked at and when i left and went elsewhere i just knocked it on the head, there were days when i just felt ruined by it, and i think it also subsituted food when i was really busy.

I'm down to 2 cups. I've been drinking less now that I'm on anti-depressants (trazodone). Last time I tried to quit coffee, I stayed off for a week doing morphine (that's how addicted to caffeine I am). By the way, if the FBI's listening, I didn't do it in America.

I only take my coffee via enema since reading that recent thread on the subject. It's really changed my life, although I'm a lot less popular down at the cafe than I used to be.

What's white tea? I only know green, brown and black. I used to make chai, but it's too much work to do so often. Now, I make a pot of green tea (from leaves, not bags) and put it in the fridge for a cold drink. My girlfriend spends too much on fruit juice which is nothing but sugar anyway.
