I'm a terrible father

Post by Girl Toes » Sun Jan 02, 2005 4:44 am

I bought a patch of wheat grass about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I sit it on my desk, as I figured it would be neat to have grass on my desk. And look what I've done to it. Its all floppy and dry. And in some ways its even brown. What have I done? I've watered it, and given it light. Why couldn't it have been the other way around??? Why couldn't I be the first to go?

You are missing the key ingredient in caring for another...love. When was the last time you held your little patch of grass in your arms and said everything was going to be alright? Wait...you weren't going to just put it in a smoothie later were you?

Oddly enough, every time that I lose a girlfriend I gain a plant. Somehow I just feel obligated to take care of "the kids".

You said "Look what I've done to it." I looked and all I saw was Andy Rooney.
