Seattle's Metal New Year..

Post by Bad Halen » Sun Jan 02, 2005 2:38 pm

What was up with that Space Needle-New Year's celebration?

It was like 1989 with that music playing. The pyrotechnics were actually pretty impressive. However, the music they chose was a-fucking-trocious.

I recognized Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" but that was about it. The rest sounded like REALLY terrible 80's metal with gobs of guitar wankery. Oh wait a minute......that pretty much sums of "Let's Go Crazy" too. oops.

Is Paul Allen to blame for that shit?

How depressing. Looking backwards instead of forwards.

That all I'm sure was due to trying to have a non-offesnive new years gahtering that would in no way offend any Ballard goer so that they don't riot in Spandex. Bollocks all of them!
Just trying to get through life without looking stupid! Not workin' out so far for me...
