The whole crowd was booing at the end. Nobody on stage seemed to know what to do with that.

well the soundguy blew it for all the performers but her shit was loud and clear.
Half of Kelly Clarkson's song was inaudible. The choruses were audible because it was a backing tape. Did you see her sing the chorus while her mic was at her side?

Somebody just got fired I'm sure. But I am all for Simpson lip synching after hearing that mess

yeah, the boos were pretty funny!

She was on some new Year's eve show (post midnight) and it was very obvious she was NOT lip synching.

Maybe this is a turning point for the American public.
Maybe the public has finally had it with "artists", who can't sing, being shoved down their throats.

And maybe I'll wake up from my dream world.

In any case, we need more booing going on. Maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't have so much of these people's "art" in our lives.

All I have heard/seen was the above posted clip and all I'm a little confused. A little enamoured with The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, are we??? (the direct rip from a song) Thinking we're "punk rock", are we? (the kick drum)

Why did she get booed, though? I mean...I know why I'd boo but it's not like America to publicly and/or openly display such a blatant show of decent taste.
