North Korea preparing for war?

Post by sonikbliss » Wed Jan 05, 2005 9:23 am

Something tells me that North Korea doesn't plan on ending this nuclear conflict peacefully. :(

a war of that magnitude at this point would mean imminent collapse for the u.s. i don't think the world has enough left in it for another world war -- what with the global economy and all.
medicate? oh, i thought you said "meditate."

If this was true, I am sure we would have already read about it here.

Sounds to me like they're more concerned w/ defending themselves from a "pre-emptive" attack from the richest, militarily most powewrful nation on the planet, than preparing to attack some one else... Or maybe it's just all propaganda; using war retoric to panic the populace into keeping the leadership in power.

My bet is that this 'leaked' on purpose. Mr. Kim is trying to the welfare wagon moving, and some food to feed his people.

If Kim has anything to fear it is his own people...

my guess would be #2. I don't think realistically the US could attack North Korea with how spread out the troops are, unless the war in Iraq was suddenly over (yeah right  ). But if the troops weren't so scattered I wouldn't put it past Bushie, unfortunately.
