Desert Island Beer

Post by cassembler » Tue Aug 05, 2003 12:38 pm

Ok guys, we've selected (or are selecting) our five desert island CD's, most of us have looked into desert island mics... What if we had to contact one, and ONLY one beer vendor for one, and ONLY one type of beer. You can get tap, bottles, or cans, and you can get as much as you want delivered by midgets.

Remember:
1) Desert
2) Island
3) Beer
4) ummm....
5) Unlimited nachos are included
6) Limes and salt (aka training wheels) will also be included.

??? who dare take the first plunge and risk ridicule by other future desert islanders???

Heineken Dark ...though, being on a desert island with unlimited beer, I'd prolly die of sunstroke before I got to listen to all five albums...

The contract rider only states midgets, so you have a choice. I'm currently trying to decide what would be more fun... Dying drunk and dehydrated or dying while staring at a boat full of midgets carrying more beer?

EDIT: Oh yeah, Fat Tire's a great thing... I dunno... Seriously, I'm thinking about a light beer so that I could frolic and not feel tired all the time... hmmmm....

Assuming the beer is free and I'm not limited by the amount of cash I have, my choices would probably be something like ...

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Blue Moon
Goose Island Honker's Ale
Brooklyn Lager
Sam Adams Pale Ale
ummm ....

If I had to choose one beer, I'd go with a nitro keg.

Boddington's or Tetley's would do nicely on my desert isle.

mmmm...Boddington's. I forgot about that. I like the cream ale! I'd still have to go with Fat Tire for all-day-every-day drinking.

Boddington's... never had it. What's it like? A local pub of ours (Flying Saucer) has over 120 beers on tap, and I'm assuming that most of these listed would be available...

Boddingtons's is that tall yellow can right? 4-pack? It has pouring instructions? Tastes milky mmmmmmmmm.

Victory Hop Devil. That's my choice. Good stuff. Also this local bar/brew's vanilla beer. WOW! it's amazing! It's a bitter beer with just a touch of vanilla.
