I can't stream on this computer so the first one's not possible for me, geo is down or you've reached your limit or something so i can't access the files. I'll try again later or tomorrow.Zoltar wrote:Re: Any MP3s? I'd like to hear some of that.
I hope this works:

I also made a geocities page until I figure out web hosting, (for now). I don't think it will work, but the songs are on the other link anyhow.

I'm open to opinions, I don't like the fret buzz on the convergence song, so I tore the frets out of one of my guitar for next time.

lately it's just been post rock/space rock stuff... don't have any of that online.... my rock band (on winter hiatus right now to work on other stuff) has shit online at the site in my signature. i also make alot of idm and drum'n'bass and stuff. i've got a 10" coming out on satamile soon that i made with a friend of mine, kinda scinematic electronica with idm beats and really nasty bass stuff. i dunno when it'll be out... i'll let you all know, for sure.
cheers,
john

I'd like to listen to it, but I can't-- it's against the rules.mjau wrote:I'm in a little band called Maroon 5.

Dude, that's a great screename, I never caught that.dwlb wrote:My own stuff is rock, maybe Bowie/Wilco/Tom Petty/Beatles inspired, I dunno.
the project that supplies my screen name here, Donny Who Loved Bowling, is a garage-experimental band I am in with my friend Chris from Austin. You can check that out here if you like.
I write and record country-rockish, Stones-y, pretty traditional sounding stuff and THE RAWK. to tape.

I try to experiment with funny sounds and terrible distortion and recording hijinx and such but I've listened to too much Beatles and Guided by Voices to be anything but very very melody-oriented. So I'd say pop.

We are reaching for an experimental thing in a groove sense I guess. More like the Cream, Santana, MC5 sense of it I suppose though, more psychedelia sounding stuff. With a bit of nutmeg and Prog on the side. Most of our live performances end up lasting forever and we try to do a jazz space oddessy at least once a week. Just to keep the dream alive!
Just trying to get through life without looking stupid! Not workin' out so far for me...

A retro adventure in 80's post modern with danceable disco beats - oh wait! that's every other new band! Sorry.
I do, however, like to make sounds to turn frowns upside downs.
