TOMB cookies? not the tasty kind. avatars?

Post by llmonty » Wed Feb 02, 2005 6:18 am

Per the suggestion of a fellow forumite i switched to firefox a few weeks ago and set it to prompt me everytime a cookie wants to be set.

On this site I get all sorts of strange ones beyond the TOMB cookies. I've gotten PBS and Snoop Dog, and a whole host of others.

Is this from the avatar's people are using?

Yeah, they only go back the original server. All the spam I've gotten from this site was from lurkers who clicked on my AIM link, not because of tapeop or cookies.

I use Firefox and have never gotten that sort of thing. I doubt it's from this board.

I don't think so. You can't set a cookie via an image.
