Things i've discovered recently on hearing my voice back..
...as in on 'outakes', where you hear yourself talking off mic..
1) I'm more well spoken than i thought i was.
2) I'm actually quite soft spoken.
3) I use phrases i didn't realise i did, like 'ever so', as in 'ever so tired'.
4) These days i seem to talk how i think, but it still comes out making sense.
5) ...forgot 5 when i thought of 6..
6) I prefer the sound of me when i'm calm and not stressing.
7) I still swear just a little more than i'd like, but way less than i used to.
I occasionally laugh like a drain.

I shouldn't be as self conscious about my voice
I sound kinda good
I can go lower than I thought
I rap really fast
Girls love da Kuropta

All the EQ correction and mic choice in the World can't stop me from sounding like I have cotton wool in my nose

That's funny, the 'i rap really fast', recently i've been doing a lot of improvising on glock for my record and i'm way faster than i thought i was. I'm listening to a jam i had with my ouddist friend right at the moment (thus the thread) and there are points where i'm like 'woah there Matt, you need to slow down a little, take a breath', great that i can play like that, but it needs to have both light and shade.

Won't your record an answering machine message for me, Rigsby?? That'd make me ever so happy. :)

Do you mean will i record an answering machine message for you? If so, then yes, sure. Let me know what you want it to say and i'll post an MP3 tomorrow. Sounds like fun.SSRigsbyGargesA.L. wrote:Won't your record an answering machine message for me, Rigsby?? That'd make me ever so happy.

Just say that you've reached the home of the beatles, or gerry and the pace makers, or BBC broadcasting.... plot to kill the queen?? I dunno, what ever, it would be ever so amusing.
For referance, though you don't need to use any of this, but shoul;d you want to.... Lance and jake, or Jake and Lance, 718-497-5356

A couple of goes would be delightful, ever so.
I hope you'll illustrate everything you've learned about your voice.

Just cause you can doesn't mean you should. lol.Rigsby wrote:That's funny, the 'i rap really fast', recently i've been doing a lot of improvising on glock for my record and i'm way faster than i thought i was. I love the Lil Jon, Usher, Ludacris song "Friends and Lovers" cause Ludacris uses speed and slowness perfectly on his rap to create one of the most memorable raps ever, IMHO.

More of a query.
I've heard of people suddenly talking with foreign accents after a head trauma

I called it
Lancerphone, but that's probably lost on Americans.
Let me know what you think.
