Just saw Hotel Rwanda the other night. It was really good, Don Cheadle was awesome. I'd like to read the book that Romeo Dallaire (who I'm assuming Nick Nolte's character was based on) wrote.
One thing though- as I'm watching the credits, that "million voices" song comes on, by Wycleff Jean, and I'm like "eh, whatever, too bad they couldn't just have a simple score here, this doesn't really fit" but as the song went on, and Wycleff Jean did more and more ad-libbing, it became more and more surreal "rwANDA rwWANDA... I wanna sing for rwANDA!... rwANDA rwANDA, I wanna play my guitar for rwanda!" <insert god-awful guitar solo>
It was like if after Shindler's list they had had No Doubt play "I wanna play my saxaphone for Auschwitz!" Tasteless.
