Yup.
Isn't there a number I can call and report that guy?
He sounds like a (pause, wait for concerned eyebrow pose, whispered:)
liberal.
Gasp.
the main reason I think the democratic party has failed is because they've been paying heed to conservative republican's desires.
the more they do that, the more conservative republicans are convinced that their own warped fantasy is being realized (and it is just) , and it's addictive. It's a fucking cancer, where conservative means morally adhearing and liberal means devil worshiper.
the more the devil worshippers try and act partly moral, the less attractive it is to be a devil worshipper.

Re: post-election survey
Although andyg666 listed the reasons I was disappointed by Kerry, the Democrats already know that no liberals will ever vote for a conservative Republican, so they go after the middle.
I wish they, or at least SOMEONE on the national stage, would point out to Americans that these Republicans' action hurt 95% of them. Why ANYONE making under $200,000 a year would vote for Bush is beyond me. Did you see his new budget today? Fuck education, agriculture, the environment, the Hubble - we're spending all our money on Homeland Security (but we still can't capture Osama Bin laden), the CIA (but we still can't capture Osama Bin laden), and Defense (but we still can't capture Osama Bin laden).
I've always admired Kennedy (except of course when he was a drunken fool who plunged into a river and freaked out, causing the death of an innocent girl), but he's the only one today who is actually questioning the government's warped sense of reality.

I'm not even so sure I know what their platform is.
Re: post-election survey
Regarless of all the above, a good candidate is still important. And the dems lost cause they ran Kerry. He just wasnt their best.
And the Edwards pick was horrible. A solid VP pick like Lieberman or Gephardt wouldve been so much smarter.
Bush was very beatable this election.
I think Dean coulda had him.

Kerry was embaressment. Is this the best they could come up with? It felt pretty lame sending in my campaign contribution.
Re: post-election survey
Kerry was fine.
Look at that report folks--am I the only one who thinks it's chilling that the number one negative attribute of the Democratic party is its support of gay marriage?
Three cheers for HOMO FUCKIN' PHOBIA!!!
Seriously people, the direct proximate cause of Kerry loosing was the anti-gay marriage amendments on ballots in swing states. Mullah Dobson mobilized the American Taliban, which turned out in droves. Everything else is secondary.
The big story the media hasn't covered, the thousand pound elephant in the room, is that Bush's victory was built upon the white hot hatred so many Americans have for homosexuals. "Values" my ass.
I am ashamed to live in George W. Bush's America.

And this is what gave him the presidency. It was a sham, orchestrated by Karl Rove. Bush won FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS!!!saultime wrote:Seriously people, the direct proximate cause of Kerry loosing was the anti-gay marriage amendments on ballots in swing states.
